There has been a lot of emotional attacks and it often leads back towards the heart. Noticing that, caused the heart break in the body to become noticable.
There is a lot of attacks on the heart. People often say that if the enemy can get to your mind he can control you. In this season, he is changing his strategy. Everyone talks about their boundaries now and how those boundaries protect them and their peace (most use this term in a way of protecting their mental peace).
We focus so much on that one aspect that we forget to apply this same method with our hearts.
We focus on our mental health but then leave our hearts exposed.
✨”The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?“
Jeremiah 17:9 NIV
✨”For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.“
Matthew 6:21 NIV
✨”But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.“Matthew 15:18 NIV
The enemy is coming for the heart. If he can break the heart, the people become cold. Heart breaks hurt & causes one to shut down. If he can get to our emotions through our hearts, we start to lose bits & pieces of ourselves. THEN depression and other things start to kick in. The attacks first come against the hearts.
When we start to feel heart break, we must go to war immediately!
We are to be intentional with guarding our hearts more than ever.
✨”For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.“
Matthew 15:19 NIV
✨”Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.“
Proverbs 4:23 NIV
On the other hand of this. Test the motives of those hearts around you. The Lord looks at our hearts & knows the truth about us. We cannot fake our love and dedication for him or those we walk with or meet. Let everything be done with a pure heart.
✨”Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.“
Psalms 139:23 NIV
✨”“I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”“
Jeremiah 17:10 NIV
✨”May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.“
Psalms 19:14 NIV
-Know a person by their heart.
-Don’t let our hearts be taken away.
-The heart is the reflection of a person.
-Guard our hearts.
-Cover our hearts in prayer.
-Don’t give too much of your heart without refill. This also causes heart damage.
