Every culture has a language. We can’t be so common with the ways of the world that we’re afraid to use the language of the Kingdom of God. We must say what the Word says.
It’s a sad thing that Scripture is considered jargon. Yet cussing or Ebonics is commonplace.
Of course we have to mindful of appropriateness of environment around those who may not understand, but to be negative about those who actually read the Book, AND choose to live out the Book is sad…
We call people deep to cover up our being shallow. This must cease. We are to study to show ourselves approved.
When the transformation happens on the inside everything including our language changes. Even if this is not your practice that’s ok, but don’t judge or insult those who do.
May we all be transformed…
